I hope you're in bunny heaven now, darling.

An infographic I did for studio research on land use in Singapore to explore the potential and implications of bicycle-[something] implementation. (The original has inverted colours because the projector in studio has horrible resolution and needs to display stuff on a white background.)
I've been wanting to do such graphics for a reeeally long time since DW introduced me to them during the internship. Though it's far from the standard of those that he recommended I look at, I'm still quite happy with my first attempt. Spent a disgustingly long time on it; now I know how much research, reading, and work goes into one single such graphic. :)
P.S. Before anyone spots the 'mistake' - the title for this post is actually not grammatically unsound though it seems to be. Heh.
2011 New Year Resolutions:
1. Learn to accept that life is a process.
Don't worry prematurely about stuff that hasn't happened (and might not at all). Control wild thoughts with logic. Or just shut the brain down.
2. Be mature.
Deal with problems calmly. Don't act on impulse no matter how good it feels at that moment.
3. Have more confidence in my abilities and in myself.
Accept that I may not be the best, but I can definitely still do something with what I have as long as I try.
4. Handle money wisely.
Save, especially since I'll officially be in the workforce this year.
5. Cultivate healthy habits.
Less coffee, more exercise, more regular sleep.
6. Learn to let go.
Don't hold on to things that are not worth it. Make plans for myself, make the best of my time and my life.
She had sworn to stop being selfish, to never to lean on you again, C.
But she did still, in the end.
For yesterday, and the yesterdays before,
For the always that you always promise, that she refuses to believe-
Thank you.
Battling cramps right now with a scalding water bottle and eye candy in the form of pretty textures. Took these two photos near studio just before heading home today, when the mossy outlines of the pavers caught my eye. Now, if only they weren't so slippery to walk on...
Love these two dresses I saw on Burdastyle. I'd been wanting to sew a lot more during the December holidays but between the internship, (dismal) preparation for dissertation, and attempts to do the yearly catch up with friends, I decided to sleep as much as I could instead. Christmas was spent happily, though I'm dealing with the repercussions now, while New Year was all right.
Now that the (extremely short) internship is over, I have school to look forward to (uh), and a 300-word dissertation abstract to submit on the coming monday, which I have incorrigibly been putting off preparing for. So wish me luck! New year resolutions will be coming soon... I hope. :/
