Fried rice (or fried anything) is about the easiest dish to cook in the world. Hehe. Chinese mushrooms (冬菇?) always do the trick, and everyone has some at home... :)

there's something about soup
No matter how bad my day has been, every time I come home to mummy's cooking, it always makes me feel warm, loved and contented. :)
Also, here's wishing my handsome little brother a happy birthday and much better days ahead!

you'd have been safe with me.
This post is in remembrance of Bunny, the silly little rabbit that came to us but did not stay.
I hope you're in bunny heaven now, darling.

cracking up
made my own breakfast this morning. you have no idea how happy the sight of two lovely half-boiled eggs, two slices of plain lightly-toasted bread, and a piping-hot mug of tea makes me. :) simple, but it works.
breakfasts are happy! hee.

playtime
i love when mummy plays with my toys, even though most of the time she's torturing them. :|
this scene made me smile when i turned on the lights in my room today.
it's not difficult to make me happy; it has never been.
you just have to want to make me happy...
today, i rediscovered how sweet it is when someone makes the effort for me.
for a long time, i'd forgotten how warm and fuzzy it feels to be remembered. it's really the thought that counts...
thank you, you know who you are. :)

sunshine for a rainy day.
fried rice with sunny side up.
not as happy as breakfast makes me, but the extra egg mummy put on the rice made me smile.
(i think eggs just do it for me. lol.)
i hope tomorrow's not going to be a bad day. or i'm going to be very sad.

happy sunday breakfast at home.
well this is no eggs benedict, but it was lovingly prepared by mummy and that makes it the best breakfast in the world. :)

devotion
Did not feel too good when I got home from school today. Been having this mixture of dissatisfaction with my life and spacey-ness that I can't shake off. I'm trying hard to be happy. But sometimes I wonder if there's a need to try so hard. Shouldn't one just... be happy?
I love my mum.I know that whenever I feel bad or upset, I can come home to her and she will always be there. This is what family and love means to me.
