在我不肯醒的这一年半,做的是恶梦,还是美梦?
For the year and a half I refused to come round;
I know not if I had a nightmare or a dream.

Project Runaway
The sad thing about wireless, faceless communication these days, is that nobody knows what you're doing beyond their gleaming computer and mobile screens. You're laughing, and you're flooding their screens with smileys, but they don't know what you're really doing or feeling.
Hell. The only thing between me and it was courage.
Not courage to go, but courage to leave behind.
Nobody will understand.
Not even the people I love.
This was supposed to be happy.
It's not, yet, but I will get there.

'ohm'
He's beautiful.
As is anybody who can still make me smile under such circumstances.
Which is just him. For now.

a little sunshine for us
DW sent an MMS to say that the stash of milk candy I left him has been depleted to a single piece (actually he took a pretty long time to finish that handful). Feels really nice to be remembered and appreciated for something that I've done, that someone didn't just take what he could from me, turn his back, and forget all about it. It brought a genuine smile to my face... something I no longer remember how to do in the midst of all these sadness and stress.

i know the traitor in you.
Just a random post of some pictures I took, since I haven't been blogging regularly. (The archives say I've been blogging fewer and fewer times every month, oops.) I don't think this rate of blogging is set to change, though. It's the last semester of university life, and everybody wants to have something to show for it. Plus, I'm moving house really soon (like, next week). Blogging, and trying to be happy, have to take the backseat for now.

you lost me..
It hasn't been a good weekend.
This song tided me over through everything, tears and all.
Though it's fine now, I still don't see the clear sky I wanna see...
Every time it happens... baby, you lose a part of me.

we're safe, aren't we?
2011 New Year Resolutions:
1. Learn to accept that life is a process.
Don't worry prematurely about stuff that hasn't happened (and might not at all). Control wild thoughts with logic. Or just shut the brain down.
2. Be mature.
Deal with problems calmly. Don't act on impulse no matter how good it feels at that moment.
3. Have more confidence in my abilities and in myself.
Accept that I may not be the best, but I can definitely still do something with what I have as long as I try.
4. Handle money wisely.
Save, especially since I'll officially be in the workforce this year.
5. Cultivate healthy habits.
Less coffee, more exercise, more regular sleep.
6. Learn to let go.
Don't hold on to things that are not worth it. Make plans for myself, make the best of my time and my life.
2011 will be a year of change for me.
I won't let myself down.

you mend me.
She had sworn to stop being selfish, to never to lean on you again, C.
But she did still, in the end.
For yesterday, and the yesterdays before,
For the always that you always promise, that she refuses to believe-
Thank you.

there but not there.
haven't blogged in some time because i haven't been 'happy' for quite a while.
i was feeling quite down. i am still feeling down, in fact.
but i try to pretend that everything is all right; i try to get rid of those feelings without thinking too much about them.
but i try to pretend that everything is all right; i try to get rid of those feelings without thinking too much about them.
they are definitely not the things i will ever want to talk about on a blog anymore.
but i'm really thankful to have so many good friends around me. you guys rock.
especially breast friend, who is a constant source of encouragement and inspiration to me.
you never judge me, you never look down on me, and you always believe the best in me.
you truly inspire me to become a better person.
so this post is dedicated to my bestest breast friend in the world -
thank you for always being here, even when no one else is. :)
